Dutch Randstad chooses Roxen CMS

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

16 October 2002

New International Success for Swedish Roxen.

One of the world's largest staffing companies has signed a licence agreement with Roxen Internet Software. After intensive selection procedures and an extensive evaluation period Randstad has chosen Roxen in competition with a large number of other well-known Content Management System (CMS) companies.

According to the licence agreement between Randstad Holding and Roxen, Randstad Holding intends to use Roxen CMS within the whole Randstad Group.

Mr. J.Bultsma at Randstad says that their intention is to create a CMS standard for the whole organisation. - We have chosen Roxen because it is easy to manage. During the test period it appeared that we, with Roxen CMS, could create a web site in a very short amount of time. Besides that it is important for us that the product is based on open standards like XML and Java and that the costs are reasonable.

Roxen CMS can be characterized as an "out-of-the-box" solution for web sites on the Internet as well as intra- and extranets. It can quickly and easily be implemented and be put into operation. An intranet for a middle-sized company can for example be set up and used by the whole organisation in less than a week using Roxen CMS. There is also the flexibility and the possibility to develop your own functionality.

"With Roxen CMS it is no longer only the Webmaster that is responsible for the content on the intranet, extranet and external web pages, but also specialists from different departments e.g. Human Resources, PR etc. can be responsible for their content", says Jan van der Veen, Country Manager, Roxen Internet Software Benelux.
