Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden opts for Roxen technology

LINKÖPING, SWEDEN

27 October 2005

Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden ( NHL) signed an agreement with GMT Online for the development of their websites. Roxen Internet Software is the content management supplier.

Roxen Internet Software (Roxen), a multiple-awarded product supplier of Web Content Management products, announced that NHL, with 10,000 students a medium sized institution for higher professional education, went live with their website NHL.nl, based on Roxen CMS.

NHL needed a powerful Web Content Management solution with strong multi-site capabilities. NHL also needed a solution to empower non-technical users on multiple client platforms to rapidly publish information online. Using Roxen, NHL employees can easily contribute, organize and access content, while increasing efficiency and communication across the teams. A sophisticated version control system was also required, so that web content is never deleted and a site can always be re-created.

Roxen's CMS is selected because it is both a packaged solution that does not demand additional applications and is also an open development platform for extending capabilities. Roxen's out-of-the-box solution allows new sites to be completed on time and on the same time offering an open standards platform based on XML and XSLT. Roxen CMS can run on any platform and make use of every browser.
