TNO selects Roxen CMS

LINKÖPING, SWEDEN

8 December 2003

TNO has signed an agreement with Roxen Internet Software for the development of their Internet sites. GMT Online will be the implementation partner.

Roxen Internet Software (Roxen), a multiple-awarded product supplier of Web Content Management products, today announced that TNO, a knowledge organisation for companies, government bodies and public organisations, has selected Roxen CMS 3.4, the latest version of Roxen CMS. TNO will deploy Roxen's solution to create, manage and deliver their websites.

TNO needed a powerful Web Content Management solution with strong multi-site capabilities. TNO also needed a solution to empower non-technical users on multiple client platforms to rapidly publish information online. Using Roxen, TNO employees can easily contribute, organize and access content, while increasing efficiency and communication across the teams. A sophisticated version control system was also required, so that web content is never deleted and a site can always be re-created.

Roxen's CMS is selected because it is both a packaged solution that does not demand additional applications and is also an open development platform for extending capabilities. Roxen's out-of-the-box solution allows new sites to be completed on time and on the same time offering an open standards platform based on XML, XSLT and Java. Roxen CMS can run on any platform and make use of every browser.
