Roxen User Conference 2008 Sum-up

The 2008 Roxen User Conference took place this September in Stockholm. More than 80 people participated in making it into a very memorable event, sharing experiences and solutions.

A lot of interesting things were presented by Roxen users from all over the globe. The keynote speaker Jan Paul Dekker from RTL presented their strategy for making the transition from broadcaster to internet publisher. We also heard from no less than five other companies from various fields of work all using Roxen products in their daily operations.

The CMS 5.0 was announced and Jonas Walldén, CTO at Roxen, explained some of the new features in the next major version which is soon to be released.

We also saw a presentation and a demo of Roxen Editorial Portal, a management tool for publishing media companies. Urban Jönér gave a presentation and a extensive demo of the product, which has already been running at daily papers and magazines throughout Europe and the US for a couple of years.

Last but not least, our support manager Marcus Wellhardh introduced the brand new community site for all Roxen users. Described as a 24/7, year around user conference, Planet Roxen is the place to go if you want to discuss or socialize with other Roxen users.
